Barbanera’s Prestige Smash Repairs first opened in 1994 by Peter Barbanera, a young tradesman who single handily with sheer determination opened his first workshop in St Peter’s Sydney. Peter Philosophies his accident repair centre on taking pride in his work, producing quality output and providing exceptional service. It’s this philosophy that has carried the company through years of growth, where now Peter has created an outstanding reputation and is known for his work not only by his customers, but also acknowledged by his peers in the industry.

Towing
Our towing service operates 24×7 and gives customers the peace of mind that if they are in an accident, their car will be picked up and taken back to our workshop safely.. For not at fault accidents our friendly staff will assist you in organising a replacement vehicle to get you back on the road. Alternatively our Workshop is literally 30 meters walking distance from the recently renovated Sydenham Station.

If you’re not at fault, you have the legal right to a like for like replacement vehicle paid for by the at fault driver’s insurance company. Through our replacement vehicles provider, they can provide a suitable vehicle to have you back on the road.
Your Choice of Repairer
Most people do not realise that they have a choice as to where their vehicle is repaired and are often bullied by insurance companies to use a repairer of the insurance companies’ choice. We will be happy to take over your insurance claim and deal with all the necessary paperwork and insurance assessors on your behalf. We will make sure that your accident does not cause you any more stress than necessary. All our advice is honest, unbiased and completely free of charge. Always remember you only need one estimate and it is your right to pick your own body shop/repairer.
Environmentally Friendly
We have gone Solar! At Barbanera’s we run an environmentally friendly bodyshop. The wash bay area includes oil and water separator filters. The workshop is equip with dust extraction units to ensure that toxic matter is filtered from the air. All waste is recycled, at Barbanera’s the workshop is run as per the guidelines set out by the EPA.

Paint Shop
The quality of your repair can be guaranteed by our commitment to using the very best in equipment. At Barbanera’s Smash Repairs our paint shop is driven by LOWBAKE technology. Equipped with R.A.D.S (Rapid Air Drying System) for faster paint curing of waterborne paints ensuring the best finish on your prestige vehicle.
We use STANDOX 2 pack baked enamel paints made in Wuppertal –Germany. Standox is one of Europe’s leading car refinishing brands offering excellent paint technology in more than 80 countries worldwide. Recommended by all leading automotive manufactures Standox helps you achieve perfect results, every time.
Our Paint Room utilises spectrophotometer technology. An innovative colour retrieval system which searches and identifies which formulation is needed to achieve the closest match to the colour or your vehicle.
